CM: Milan target Torino star as late mercato opportunity with Pioli a driving force

AC Milan will head into the final month of the summer transfer window looking to seize some opportunities that may arise, and a right-back is a role that could be strengthened.

Milan have got the bulk of their business done early this summer after the sale of Sandro Tonali with Marco Sportiello, Luka Romero, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Tijjani Reijnders, Christian Pulisic and Noah Okafor having all arrived, and Samuel Chukwueze to follow.

According to the latest from Calciomercato.com, Wilfried Singo remains on Milan’s radar as a possible opportunity for the final stages of the summer transfer window.

He is a player that Stefano Pioli likes a lot and could see fitting into his plans well, and given that he has a year left on his contract Torino might feel the need to sell him to make sure he doesn’t go for free.

Milan currently have Davide Calabria and Alessandro Florenzi as natural right-backs, but the latter has struggled a lot with injuries since arriving. Pierre Kalulu can also shift over but has been used more as a centre-back.
