CM: Milan to try sign Rebic and Fiorentina forward under Rangnick’s orders – the latest

By Oliver Fisher -

Incoming AC Milan manager Ralf Rangnick has reportedly identified Fiorentina’s Dusan Vlahovic as an ideal attacking reinforcement.

It was reported by Sky Italia on Tuesday night that Rangnick wants Vlahovic to link up with Ante Rebic. The Serbia international has six goals in 24 appearances for Fiorentina and has yet to commit his long-term future to the club.

According to Fabrizio Romano’s latest for Calciomercato.com, Milan are continuing to prepare for a summer of revolution under Rangnick despite an incredible run of results since the resumption of Serie A.

The German is working on market objectives and has already decided to keep Ante Rebic as a key part of his project, and has told Elliott Management to try and sign him permanently this summer.

In addition, Vlahovic is on his wish list to potentially partner Rebic up front as he is considered one of the best centre-forward prospects in Serie A due to his finishing, physicality and more.

Fiorentina have a renewal offer ready and the player is happy in Florence but Milan has every intention of trying an assault.
