CM: Milan to watch €13m-rated full-back against Juventus during Champions League

AC Milan will keep an eye on Dinamo Kiev star Vitaliy Mykolenko during their Champions League opener against Juventus, a report claims.

Calciomercato.com recently reported that Mykolenko is one of the players currently being monitored by Milan as a potential solution as the 21-year-old continues to go from strength to strength and has even been recommended by Andriy Shevchenko, the head coach of the Ukrainian national team.

According to a report from the same outlet, Tuesday night’s game at the Olympic Stadium in Kiev will be viewed as a sort of dress rehearsal for the left-back against a Serie A powerhouse, to see how he copes on a big stage.

He has been on the Rossoneri’s radar for some time, and Mykolenko wants to try and seal a move to one of the European leagues.

His valuation is around €13million and Milan are attracted by the fact that he can play either as a left-back or even as a centre-back, meaning he would provide good cover for Theo Hernandez and Alessio Romagnoli. Against Juventus he has an excellent opportunity to convince the management.
