Soualiho Meite arrived at Milan in January to strengthen the midfield and has made seven league appearance for the Rossoneri. However, his performances haven’t been too convincing.
Milan paid €500K for the six-month loan and there is an €8m buy-out clause included in the deal, as well as bonuses of €1.5m. This figure certainly isn’t too much for the Rossoneri but it depends on Meite’s displays on the pitch.
So far, as reported by Calciomercato.com, the Frenchman hasn’t impressed Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara. The directors are inclined to send him back to Torino in the summer, as things said, and this stance remains unlikely to change.
In the end, the signing of Meite was an emergency solution as Ismael Bennacer was out injured, while Franck Kessie and Sandro Tonali alternated suspension. However, as said, there will be multiple opportunities for the No.18 to prove himself.
