The operation is in the final details and is moving towards closure, and it is suspected based on multiple reports that Milan will secure themselves a discount.
The search for a new deputy right-back is also well underway, and contacts continue over a possible deal for Alvaro Odriozola of Real Madrid. Relations between the Rossoneri and Los Blancos are excellent – especially now Carlo Ancelotti is their head coach – and the formula that is currently most likely is a loan.
There are two weeks until AC Milan’s preseason campaign officially gets underway and there are still a lot of question marks about the squad, but work is being done to address the gaps.
