CM: Milan waiting for return of Roma director as agent works to finalise €6m deal

AC Milan are waiting for Roma director Tiago Pinto to return before they can secure the signing of Alessandro Florenzi, reports claimed.

Calciomercato.com reports that Florenzi only wants Milan. After returning from his loan at Paris Saint-Germain – where he amassed 36 appearances and two goals – the full-back has decided that the right destination for his next adventure is Milan.

His agent Alessandro Lucci is working to try and find a meeting point between every party on each aspect of the deal, but Maldini and Massara have to wait for the Giallorossi and more specifically Tiago Pinto, who is in London to try to bring a new number 9 to José Mourinho in Tammy Abraham.

Once he returns, the Florenzi talks will be intensified, with Milan working on a loan with option to buy while Roma want it to be an obligation to buy, for a total amount of about €6m. Florenzi is training alone in the meantime, with his head already in Milan.
