CM: Milan want a quality trequartista – €20m Real Madrid man among three targeted

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are currently targeting two playmakers ahead of the summer transfer window as they look to improve their creative ability, a report claims.

According to Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri are looking for profiles that raises the quality of their trequartista position. One of these is Dominik Szoboszlai, for whom there is strong competition, but Real Madrid’s Oscar Rodriguez and Lokomotiv Moscow’s Aleksey Mirancuk are also being considered.

When asked about interest from Milan, the agent of Oscar replied: “Why not? Milan is always a great club, with a great tradition.”

With nine goals and two assists in 29 games on loan at Leganes, the 22-year-old has a bright future and is valued at around €20million, but Real Madrid wish to insert a buy-back clause to protect themselves.

For Mirancuk, the opportunity arose in his talks with Lokomotiv Moscow for the sale of Diego Laxalt. Milan do not intend to spend more than €15million on the Russian international, but if there are the right conditions he could be a much-needed reinforcement.
