CM: Milan willing to pay €2-3m for Santos star this summer – the situation

By Isak Möller -

Kaio Jorge has been heavily linked with a move to Milan in the last few weeks. However, the competition is fierce and the Rossoneri will have to work hard to secure the striker, a report claims.

According to Calciomercato.com, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara believe in the player a lot, certain that he will fulfil his potential. In fact, they have even reached an agreement with his agents at €5m, in the event of a free transfer in January.

As for this summer, the Rossoneri have changed their strategy slightly, now only willing to pay around €2-3m for Kaio Jorge. The latter’s contract will expire in five months, after all, and spending too much now wouldn’t make sense.

It remains to be seen if an agreement can be reached or if another club will beat Milan to the signing of the youngster. Either way, the feeling is that we could the answer to that question pretty soon.
