CM: Milan working on double exit with contract termination of defender in the works

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are working on sorting accommodation for two players on the right flank, namely Andrea Conti and Samu Castillejo.

Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com writes on Twitter that the Rossoneri management are at work to find a new club for Conti, while Castillejo could also leave the club, as neither are deemed as being part of the plans for the season ahead.

On their website, they add that Genoa are betting everything on signing Conti before the deadline shuts given the difficulties they have encountered in finding an agreement with Udinese for Jens Stryger-Larsen, meaning the ex-Atalanta full-back is now their No.1 priority target.

Milan and Conti are actually in talks to define the termination of his contract expiring on June 30 of next year. In this way, Conti would free himself from Milan and would be able to agree terms with Genoa without them having to pay a fee.
