CM: Milan working to try renew contract of Primavera winger Chaka Traore

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are looking to secure the long-term future of Chaka Traore who continues to take the Primavera by storm, according to a report.

Calciomercato.com report that Traorè is a talent ready to take off and is one of the biggest prospects in Milan’s youth sector. The teenager – thanks to Abate’s guidance – is no longer just a highlight reel player for his dribbles, but he has now added regular goals and assists.

The Ivorian is enjoying exponential growth in both the UEFA Youth League and the Primavera, which has not gone unnoticed by Stefano Pioli who is always looking at who might be next in line for a promotion to the senior side.

Maldini and Massara are betting firmly on Traorè for the present and above all for the future, which is why they have been working for several weeks with the agents of the 18-year-old to find an agreement to extend his contract which is currently expiring in June.

There is a sense of calmness between the parties and the common desire to continue together, but time is running out and things need to speed up for a renewal of considerable importance.

  1. Oh ffs, it’s bad enough Leao hasn’t signed but his primavera replacement hasn’t signed either!
Better yet his contract is up in June!
Therfore any club can negotiate with his agent and offer stupid money.
What is going on at milan? It’s become the most popular/lucrative stopover in football

  2. Won’t want to lose Chaka. Almost ready for a loan out and see if he can cut it at a smaller club. I’m hoping by 20 he is in the first team squad.
