Milinkovic-Savic was a top target for the Rossoneri last summer, but due to high demand from Lazio president Lotito, the deal collapsed, but it may be heating up again this summer.
Calciomercato.com reports that Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Fiorentina’s Federico Chiesa will be the primary targets for the Rossoneri this summer.
As of now, though, the goal is to finish in the top four, which will secure Champions League football for next season and room for spending to strengthen the squad.
AC Milan are desperately looking to add some depth and quality to the midfield and wing positions with the likes of Saint-Maximin, Everton, Diawara and former Rossoneri player Deulofeu all on their radar.
However, the dream for the Rossoneri is signing Milinkovic-Savic and Chiesa, though it would be two costly operations, possibly forcing Leonardo to sacrifice some of the current players.
AC Milan are currently sitting fourth in the table, two points behind city rivals Inter, and have some work to do in order to remain in the top four as Roma and Lazio are right behind them.
