Henrikh Mkhitaryan could say farewell to Roma after the arrival of Jose Mourinho as manager, with AC Milan among the teams linked.
Newspaper Il Tempo (via MilanNews) reported last week that the 32-year-old is not sure of staying in the capital next year due to the arrival of Mourinho as manager, a coach that he didn’t have the best of relationships with at Manchester United. Furthermore, the Armenian knows that the next one will be the last major contract of his career so it is potentially an opportunity to earn more, with Milan keen on the former Arsenal winger and observing the situation.
According to Calciomercato.com, Mkhitaryan has not yet said yes to a new deal with Roma even if optimism filters through. The playmaker is tempted by the idea of moving to a team in the Champions League and the possible interest of Milan – who for now deny such interest. However, he has two other big offers on his plate: Monaco and one from Russia, probably from Zenit.
