AC Milan chief scout Geoffrey Moncada is in Switzerland to watch the game between Sporting CP and AZ Alkmaar in the UEFA Youth League, a report claims.
Today is Youth League semi-final day, and Milan will square off against Hajduk Split in Geneva at 18:00 CEST hoping to snatch a spot in the final but before that Sporting will play against AZ.
According to Calciomercato.com, the eyes of Moncada and the other Rossoneri scouts will be watching the game between the Portuguese side and their Dutch opponents, with plenty of talents on display.
They are not the only ones to have that idea though, as Moretti from Torino is also in the stands. Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will be in Geneva for today’s game as well, meaning there will be a good delegation there from Italy to see if Abate’s men can reach the final.
