CM: Musah leaves four tour with Valencia as Milan talks hit stalemate – the situation

AC Milan have not managed to make the desired progress in talks over Yunus Musah with Valencia and are thus taking time to reflect, a report claims.

According to a report from Calciomercato.com, Milan’s summer mercato continues to move at a frenetic pace, but on the day in which a deal for Noah Okafor has been agreed and one for Samuel Chukwueze seems imminent, there is a stalemate over Musah.

Musah was one step away from saying goodbye to Valencia in recent days, but the sudden halt to negotiations from president Peter Lim blocked an operation that was proceeding at full speed.

Milan’s proposal of €13m plus €4m in bonuses had been accepted by the Spanish management, but the Singapore-based tycoon has no intention of selling off one of the team’s most valuable assets for less than fair value.

Lim continues to demand no less than €25m for Musah and at the moment Milan – who are concentrated on operations to strengthen the attack – have not yet raised their bid to close the deal.

Contacts with Valencia and with the player’s entourage are still going on, with a deal worth €1.7m net per season agreed, though for the time being things are at a standstill.

The plan was to take the USA international on the tour together with his compatriot Christian Pulisic, for preparation and also marketing reasons.

However, Valencia announced this morning that Musah is in the list of players who will take part in the friendly matches in Switzerland, starting with the match against San Gallo.
