CM ‘Now it is too late’ – why Milan will not sign Sesko after 3 year admiration

Benjamin Sesko has been on the mind of AC Milan for three years now, and they had a chance to sign him in the summer mercato, but they didn’t. Their admiration for the striker has continued to grow, but their chances of signing him have drastically fallen.

With Milan looking to sign a striker, the profile of Sesko was at large once again for the Rossoneri. The 21-year-old was not utilised at RB Leipzig last season, and there was a belief that he could be bought in the summer.

However, the Diavolo opted to go down a different route, and Sesko remained in Germany, albeit with a Haaland-like clause being inserted into his contract – effectively, he is the master of his own destiny as long as a price is met.

During the summer, reports suggested that he was available for a figure of €65 million, which already would have been pushing the boat for the Rossoneri, and this is probably a large reason why another route was taken.

It is reported by Calciomercato.com that the new clause in his deal is worth around €75-80m, which is far out of the reach of Milan or any other Italian clubs, meaning a move to England is more likely.

Against Juventus on Tuesday, he showed his quality by scoring a brace against Juventus. After three years of scouting, Milan will probably be left regretting not taking the plunge.

  1. Missed out on Dzeko back in the day when it was a perfect replacement for Shevchenko, now missing out on Sesko, who would have been a perfect replacement for Dzeko.

There would have been no gap in perfect striker in Milan all these years, and not need to buy sozen of failed #7’s should these transfer went through.

Stupid decisions then, stupid decisions now. Nothing changes for Milan.

    1. Don’t fear Camarda won’t play for Milan in Seria A,
he will go to England and score goals against Milan instead.
Under this management Milan will never be competitive to Real, Inter, Barca, Liverpool, ManC and other great clubs
So Cardinale is offering 22% to someone in the Arab world to bail him and his project out of a hole that is growing by the day.
What hope do you give ACM for the future Cardi?

      1. The hope it’s to later sell the giant share to the Saudi.

And Milan can live up to expectation and we all can smile and be proud again.

having our beloved Milan in a safe and capable hands
