CM: Pioli braces for most important game of his career – one last chance for Milan

By Isak Möller -

Milan have just one chance left to secure their return to the esteemed Champions League, following the draw against Cagliari last weekend. 90 minutes, therefore, to certify what has been built during the season.

As highlighted by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri are under pressure to win as that would mean Champions League. A competition that was the home of Milan but now has been missing for 7 very long years.

Most likely, it will be the most important game of Stefano Pioli’s career not only for his own merit, but also because he can create history with Milan. And a win would certainly put an end to all the doubts that have surfaced recently.

While many Serie A clubs are preparing for managerial changes, Pioli is determined to not be one of them and securing Champions League would make him a very safe man. Hopefully, his side will pull it off this evening.
