CM: Pioli makes trip to Casa Milan with multiple issues discussed

Stefano Pioli held a meeting recently at Casa Milan to discuss transfer strategy as well as other general issues with the club’s hierarchy, a report claims.

As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, the Milan coach has been in close dialogue with the executives of the club to ensure that everyone is on the same page going forward.

The club has already signed Marco Sportiello, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Noah Raveyre and they have also seen Daniel Maldini and Lorenzo Colombo come back to the first team.

The next step that Pioli wants to remain involved with is other signings to have a serious effect on the first team. Players such as Yunus Musah, Samuel Chukwueze, Christian Pulisic and Alvaro Morata are all ones that Pioli will have been briefed on and will have offered his opinion on.

The club is pushing ahead with multiple deals and retaining an open dialogue with Pioli.

  1. This is something I think was missing with Maldini, definitely seemed a disconnect between players Pioli wanted vs players Maldini wanted…

    1. No. Pioli is a snake who jumped at a chance to coach Milan and also jumped at a chance to stab Maldini in the back after paolo went to bat for him multiple times.

Where are all of these signings that the new team was supposed to bring in? Maldini brought players. Pioli refused to use them.

  2. this shortlist should have been scored and ranked in order of priority weeks ago when Maldini left.

They are behind the ball, very late and completely disorganized. These are projects that are built upon from January to May, come June all these shortlists have to be prepared with a strategy ready to be implemented as soon as the season ends.

This new management are showing that operating a football club is way over their heads and that they lack understanding of how to function properly. They have been failing terribly so far.

Incompetence, lack of preparation, knowledge and organization reigns supreme.

  3. There’s an article on this blog about CdK being advised to Maldini and Massara by Moncada. And so were Kalulu, Thiaw, Saele and Vranckx. But in the end Maldini and Massara paid for the failure of the most expensive one.

    1. That’s basically how it goes. It’s the bigger heads that get the axe, not the backroom staff. Maldini and Massara have been protecting Pioli’s and Moncada’s back the entire time, took all the balme, and got fired for their collective failings. This season their (Poli,.Moncada and Furlani) necks are on the chopping block. I think this will be Pioli’s last season and he might not make it for the entire season especially with the squad they have now. They absolutely can’t make a mistake and they MUST do better than what M&M did, which to me is ridiculous….how u gonna top a.scudetto and UCL semi. Cardinale has set these guys out for failure
