AC Milan plan to have Ismael Bennacer fit and back on the pitch in the next two to three months now that he is undergoing personal work at Milanello, a report claims.
As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri think that they can get Bennacer back into the team by the back end of 2023 or the start of 2024.
He had to undergo an operation to fix the cartilage in his knee on May 16 and he has been out of the picture ever since. Now that he is back at Milanello and attempting to get fit as soon as possible, estimations can be made about his return to the first team.
One added factor is that the African Cup of Nations is in January 2024 so being Algerian, Bennacer could be working towards that first and foremost.
Bennacer is expected to almost feel like a new signing when he comes back.
