AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli could give Mario Mandzukic his first league start for the clubs against Lazio tomorrow, a report claims.
Milan know that they simply have to bounce back with a positive result in the capital having lost on Wednesday night against Sassuolo, but it seems as though there will be injury problems for Pioli to battle once again.
Pioli gave an update on the situation regarding a number of different injured players ahead of tomorrow’s game during his pre-match press conference. He confirmed that Ibrahimovic won’t be available but will return against Benevento, while Theo could play a part and Fikayo Tomori is struggling with a minor problem
This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that a back four of Calabria, Kjaer, Tomori and Theo Hernandez will be in front of Gianluigi Donnarumma, with Kessie and Bennacer the double pivot.
Saelemaekers and Rebic will occupy the right and left wings respectively with Calhanoglu the playmaker behind Mario Mandzukic.
Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Calabria, Kjaer, Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Bennacer, Kessie; Saelemaekers, Calhanoglu, Rebic; Mandzukic.
