PSG forward Hugo Ekitike is the latest player that has become a genuine candidate to challenge Olivier Giroud in the AC Milan attack next season, a report claims.
As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, Ekitike is a very serious hypothesis for Milan as they seek to ensure that they have more than just Giroud as a main striker next season.
The Frenchman needs more help in rotation and signing Ekitike would give Stefano Pioli an exciting young striker who could be ready to score goals straight away.
PSG would be ready to let him go for a fee of around €20 million which may well be possible for Milan to reach, as long as they make two or three sales in the near future.
One important factor is that Ekitike does not want to spend another year as the backup striker for someone else, he wants to be the main man.
They just paid 28.5 mil so not so convinced that they would sell him for 20 mil two weeks after his transfer. Either way hopefully we can do better.

I feel like we should loan a striker at this point. And not rush or waste money on a striker right now if we can’t make our mind up. And go all out on a striker next season.
I completely agree with that – we’re obviously not in a position to go out and spend big on a starter and Giroud is still very good so we should look for a temporary solution there whilst scouting targets for next year.

Yes indeed Giroud is still very good and with all the good players we have signed such as pulisic and Loftus cheek …Olivier Giroud will have his best season for us ,as long as he has pace around him ,then leave him inside the 18 yard area ,,,and he will still score goals against any team in the world for club and country…technically the man is still brilliant and is so physically strong and he knows exactly where to be at the right time …So this season do not bet against us winning trophies including the scuddeto..
