CM: Real Madrid have huge regrets about selling defender to Milan for €20m

Real Madrid have huge regrets about selling full-back Theo Hernandez to AC Milan, according to a report.

The 22-year-old has been nothing short of sensational since his arrival during the summer, having racked up six goals in two assists across all competitions, establishing himself as the club’s leading scorer in the process.

According to a report from Calciomercato.com, Real Madrid sold Hernandez to the Rossoneri for a fee of just €20million, which appears to be an absolute bargain now given his excellent form thus far.

The Frenchman has registered a goal contribution every 231 minutes, and given that Los Blancos have ended up spending potentially over €50million on Ferland Mendy as Marcelo’s long-term replacement (via Wikipedia), it appears they had an ideal candidate on their books all along.

It was recently reported by il Corriere della Sera in fact that Hernandez is now worth around €50million in terms of current market value – a 150% rise on the fee initially paid by Paolo Maldini and co.
