CM: Rebic exit ‘just a matter of time’ with salary solution being worked on

Ante Rebic is getting closer to leaving AC Milan and a move to Besiktas is expected to be agreed, according to a report.

According to what is being reported by Calciomercato.com, Milan and Besiktas intensified their talks yesterday with the clear aim of facilitating the sale of the Croatian forward, who is not a part of the club’s plans at all.

The two sides already have an agreement in principle on the formula that will be a loan with option to buy, and now Milan are evaluating the best solution to help Besiktas in paying Rebic’s hefty €3.5m net per season salary.

Nevertheless, the fact that both clubs are working towards the same end goal means that the operation ‘will take place’ and is ‘just a matter of time’.

Rebic continues to train in Italy while waiting for news on his future, having not been taken on the preseason tour of the United States.
