CM: Rebic says goodbye to AC Milan; return to Frankfurt is ready

By Isak Möller -

Ante Rebic’s adventure at AC Milan is seemingly coming to an end just six months after it started. The Croatian hasn’t managed to find his feet in Serie A, ready to return to Bundesliga and Eintracht Frankfurt.

Seven appearances, 117 minutes, and zero goals/assists for the winger. Certainly, these numbers speak for themselves: Rebic hasn’t lived up to the expectations after joining the Rossoneri in a two-year loan swap involving Andre Silva.

Of course, has been labelled as a flop. Now, as Calciomercato.com report, his entourage is at work to bring him back to Eintracht Frankfurt, as the Euros will take place this summer and Rebic needs playing time. A forced return, in other words.

We anticipated the news back on December 13th, as we reported that the player had contacted his former club through his entourage. Of course, the purpose of these talks was a return, which now seems just details away from materializing.
