AC Milan forward Suso is still up for sale despite impressing manager Marco Giampaolo in training, a report claims.
The Spaniard arrived back in Italy on Wednesday after a short vacation and met with his agent Alessandro Lucci, who was there to welcome the Rossoneri’s new signing Leo Duarte.
Suso’s future with Milan has seemingly been uncertain since the appointment of Marco Giampaolo as the new head coach, largely due to his fixation with the 4-3-1-2 formation.
Even though he has shown signs of adapting and playing as a trequartisa and Giampaolo was satisfied, Calciomercato.com report that he is still on the market.
Roma – who are set to play a 4-2-3-1 formation under new boss Paulo Fonseca – remain interested in Suso and have promised him a starting spot.
Around two weeks ago, it was reported that the Giallorossi tried to lower the €30m asking price for Suso by including Patrik Schick in the deal, but Milan will only accept cash for the former Liverpool man – a stance that they still maintain.
