CM: Scamacca, Depay, Jovic, Milik, Malen, Soumare, Anguissa – the latest on Milan’s market

By Oliver Fisher -

It could be a huge January transfer window for Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara as they look to add useful pieces to a squad that is currently top of the league without upsetting the balance of the team.

According to Calciomercato.com, Milan are vigilant on the market in search of interesting opportunities to be seized on the fly. The performances offered by Ante Rebic and Rafael Leao are convincing the club not to invest in vice-Ibrahimovic in January but to postpone the speech until next summer.

There is no desire to allocate a large part of the budget to the arrival of a centre-forward, therefore the chances of Gianluca Scamacca of Sassuolo and Arek Milik of Napoli joining – just like Luka Jovic and Memphis Depay – should be discarded unless the respective clubs decide to sell them at lower prices.

The door is not completely closed though and there is the possibility of signing a young talent like Donyell Malen from PSV should the chance present itself.

There is also a possible surprise in midfield: Boubakary Soumarè of Lille is very much liked, while the candidacy of Andrè Anguissa of Fulham remains.
