CM: Sergio Ramos has held talks with Milan but requests for €45m deal are too high

Sergio Ramos seems to be an unrealistic target for AC Milan even though they did hold a conversation with him, according to a report.

El Chiringuito are reporting that Ramos has spoken to Milan about the idea of starting a new adventure in Italy. More details are expected from the outlet, but it is certainly an interesting development given what the 35-year-old has said in the past about Milan.

According to Calciomercato.com, there were indeed direct contacts between the defender and the Milan management about 15-20 days ago. However, there is currently little or no chance of success for the operation at the moment, because the request made by the Spaniard is very high: a three-year deal worth €15m net per season, therefore €45m net total.

This is an unattainable figure for the Rossoneri despite the Growth Decree tax discount, because Milan do not feel like committing to such high figures at the moment, but in the coming weeks Ramos could lower his requests. After the permanent signing of Fikayo Tomori, the centre-back role is not a priority and Ramos is more likely to head to PSG.
