Sources close to Hakan Calhanoglu have denied any visit to Juventus over the past couple of days after a photo on social media caused a stir, it is claimed.
Tuttosport (via MilanNews) reported earlier today that Monday’s visit by Calhanoglu to his compatriot Merih Demiral in Turin has sparked market rumours.
The paper claims that Juve could start making contacts in view of next summer, while sources in Turkey have told them that the player is more intrigued by the idea of a move to the Bianconeri than by the offer of Milan.
According to Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, it is ‘obvious’ that Calhanoglu and Demiral made a mistake by posting the photo they took on Instagram given the rumours.
However, he adds that sources close to the player have ruled out a visit to Juventus at any point during his visit, as his agent Gordon Stipic has not even been in Italy over the past few days.
