Some alarming news has emerged about the condition of Alessandro Florenzi and an operation cannot be ruled out, a report claims.
Having come on as a substitute in the second half of Milan’s defeat against Atletico Madrid yesterday, the former Roma man player will miss the Rossoneri’s next match against Atalanta due to new problems in his left knee, as per Calciomercato.com.
This seems to be a recurring issue as he missed the match against Spezia due to the same problem, and tomorrow he will undergo in-depth examinations to figure out exactly what the problem is.
Two hypotheses are currently being evaluated: the first is a rest period to dispose of all the discomfort, the other is an arthroscopic operation (a minor surgery), which would keep him out for a few weeks.
It is undoubtedly not good news for Milan and another blow in their depth, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Rade Krunic also out at the moment.
