Suso hasn’t lived up to expectations thus far, registering just one goal and two assists this season. Of course, these numbers aren’t good enough to convince the AC Milan management to renew his contract, which has come to a halt.
The winger’s current deal expires in 2022 and in the negotiations for a new one, he’s asking for a pay rise, according to Calciomercato.com. The feeling is that the parties are heading for a separation in the summer, rather than to continue for next season.
As the report continues, the Rossoneri have talked to Mino Raiola (Suso’s agent) about the situation, which has hit a stalemate. Therefore, the agent has started to look around for possible options for his client.
