CM: Kabak, Esteve and Pellegrino on Milan’s six-man centre-back wish list

AC Milan still have a number of different options on their list as they search for the right centre-back to complete the department, a report claims.

Calciomercato.com have published a report confirming Milan’s interest in signing Marco Pellegrino from Club Atlético Platense, a player that the scouting department – headed by Geoffrey Moncada – have provided positive reports on.

The 21-year-old has been added to the list of profiles followed by management but he is not the only one being considered. Among the other targets are Maxime Esteve of Montpellier (who could cost €6-7m), Ozan Kabak of Hoffenheim and Japhet Tanganga of Spurs.

Andrew Omobamidele of Norwich City is a profile that is very much admired too but he would cost around €15m, while Clement Lenglet of Barcelona is an idea that has been explored given his excellent experience and the fact he is left-footed.

Pellegrino has jumped to the top of the list based on what has emerged in the last few hours, but it is by no means a done deal.
