CM: Tension between Milan and Mino Raiola – how the mercato could change

By Isak Möller -

The situation of Gigio Donnarumma has inevitably left its mark on the relationship between Milan and agent Mino Raiola. Failing to reach an agreement on the renewal, they all went their separate ways.

According to Calciomercato.com, the long negotiation and the differences between the parties will result in consequences. Donnarumma leaving isn’t the only one, as Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara aren’t keen on dealing with the agent anymore.

And that counts both for targets and players already at the club, such as Alessio Romagnoli. The captain’s contract will expire in 2022 and he could now leave the club, as Stefano Pioli doesn’t consider him unsellable.

Raiola wants a higher salary than the current €3.5m per year but there is a stalemate in the negotiations, just like the targets on the market. Rodrigo De Paul has been linked with the Rossoneri but Raiola would be an intermediary in the deal.

Contrary to previous reports, Raiola isn’t the midfielder’s agent but he would be involved in the transfer from Udinese. In short, all the ideas on the market have been put on hold as Milan would have to come to terms with the agent to sign his clients.

My Lord.. do you think AC Milan have a lot of money? during pandemic as well? Milan is mediocre in the recent years.. So its only natural to limit the budget. its always easier to say than done, Lord..

In this bad economy and post covid19 pandemic do you think club are ready to bleed through nose to sign and offer players crazy contract. If it was before covid19 gigio Dona would have gotten crazy pre-contract to sign for a new club. Players like Paul pogba won’t still be in United or Sancho or other crazily expensive players are still in their current club. Fora 22yrs receiving 8m euro net par season is a bad contract except 10m and 20m euro sign on for the agent that is the worst and greed contract ever with another two million for is seemingly useless brother. Guy if you are a businessman will you agree to such useless contract with a useless release clause my guy go an learn simple economic model to run a business and stop blaming the management. Maignan is the way forward fuck raiola and all his greedy players. Gigio is an old story. Forza Milan. Players will come and go but the colours of Milan will remain. Leicester won premier League with wages, Lille won where the stars of PSG fail so modern football is not about stars but players who are ready to make sacrifice for their teams

wow raiola’s man. milan offer 8M for donnarumma, not below 5M,. aren’t you clear enough??

you could follow donnarumma now, and stop make BS comments abount milan and maldini.

  4. Michel Daniel says:

I strongly disagree, paying Donnarumma 12m a year would be absurd. Plus a 20m commission for Raiola, whitch is even more insane…
If you want to run a healthy club you cannot give in to everything and everyone.
I have complete trust in Maldini.
