CM: Tension between Milan and Mino Raiola – how the mercato could change

The situation of Gigio Donnarumma has inevitably left its mark on the relationship between Milan and agent Mino Raiola. Failing to reach an agreement on the renewal, they all went their separate ways.

According to Calciomercato.com, the long negotiation and the differences between the parties will result in consequences. Donnarumma leaving isn’t the only one, as Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara aren’t keen on dealing with the agent anymore.

And that counts both for targets and players already at the club, such as Alessio Romagnoli. The captain’s contract will expire in 2022 and he could now leave the club, as Stefano Pioli doesn’t consider him unsellable.

Raiola wants a higher salary than the current €3.5m per year but there is a stalemate in the negotiations, just like the targets on the market. Rodrigo De Paul has been linked with the Rossoneri but Raiola would be an intermediary in the deal.

Contrary to previous reports, Raiola isn’t the midfielder’s agent but he would be involved in the transfer from Udinese. In short, all the ideas on the market have been put on hold as Milan would have to come to terms with the agent to sign his clients.
