CM: Theo Hernandez back but Rebic and Calhanoglu will not travel to face Man Utd

By Oliver Fisher -

Stefano Pioli will have to do without multiple key performers for Thursday’s trip to England to face Manchester United, a report claims.

Calciomecato.com writes how Milan are continuing their preparations for the fascinating Europa League match against United, with the first leg at Old Trafford this week. There is good news for Pioli regarding Theo Hernandez as the French full-back trained regularly with the rest of the team and should be in the squad. The contusion to his fibula that he sustained has been disposed of.

Ante Rebic did personalised work and will not fly with the rest of the team to England as Milan do not want to force the recovery of the injured players. They only want to count on them when they are close to 100% in terms of condition, which is why Hakan Calhanoglu will also remain at Milanello and continue individual work.

As we know, Ismael Bennacer, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Mario Mandzukic will also miss the game.
