CM: Theo Hernandez could miss three games with Covid – a chance for the €4.2m man

AC Milan will be without Theo Hernandez for at least the next two games and that means an opportunity has presented itself to other players.

Calciomercato.com reports that the French full-back will miss at least two games: the one on Saturday against Hellas Verona and the one next Tuesday against Porto which is huge for any hopes of getting through the Champions League group stage, with an eye on the following weekend against Bologna being his return but he could also miss that.

In terms of replacing him, Fodé Ballo-Touré is the first choice after he arrived from Monaco for €4.2m plus €500k bonuses over the summer, in search of some momentum after a quiet start. He has so far made appearances against Lazio, Venice, Atalanta and Atletico Madrid, racking up 112 minutes.

Davide Calabria could find space on the left as he has done in times of emergency and then Pierre Kalulu would slot in, but even in this case it would remain a distant idea.
