CM: Theo happy at Milan despite Bayern interest – a crucial meeting awaits

By Oliver Fisher -

Theo Hernandez will soon meet with the AC Milan leadership to discuss his future at the club, a report claims, and it is a future that he very much sees still being in red and black.

According to the latest from Calciomercato.com, Milan will have an ‘eventful’ summer but there will not be a ‘revolution’ like in previous windows. Despite the rumours that have been circulating, none of the stars have a ‘for sale’ sign around their neck.

Clearly there are several key decisions that await the Rossoneri management – from the appointment of the new coach to the signing of a striker who will have to replace Olivier Giroud – and that includes some renewals.

Yesterday a story from Mundo Deportivo wrote that Theo Hernandez had said yes to Bayern Munich, who identified the Milan full-back as the ideal replacement for Alphonso Davies, destined for Real Madrid.

To accept a transfer it is assumed that an official offer has arrived, which at the moment is not confirmed either by the Rossoneri or by the player’s entourage. The interest of the Bavarians is real and very concrete but the next steps, i.e. the operational ones, have not come yet.

Theo always wears the captain’s armband with great pride, he feels at home at Milan and has never expressed the desire to leave. However, it is natural that he wants to discuss with the club to understand what the plans are for the post-Pioli era.

This is a meeting that will take place at the end of the season also to begin setting up negotiations for the renewal of his deal expiring in June 2026. That meeting will be crucial and could extinguish Bayern Munich’s interest.
