Tonight will be a special games for Theo Hernández as he returns to his home country to face off against his brother Lucas in the Champions League as AC Milan take on PSG.
Calciomercato.com reveal some background on Theo and his flirtations with PSG in the past. It was in the summer of 2021 – when he showed himself to be among the strongest emerging full-backs at European level – that the Ligue 1 side first made an attempt.
They tried to convince Hernández in every way but they were unable to, and instead Theo decided to renew his contract until 2026 with Milan. The last attempt took place last summer but Theo had not changed his mind, showing loyalty to the team and becoming vice-captain.
There is great affection and mutual respect between the parties and, as mentioned, a contract running for another three years. In recent days there has been a lot of talk about a possible imminent renewal but there are no talks ongoing yet.
