CM: Moncada working to thin out the Milan squad – three exits in the pipeline

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have been busy with new signings but now they must work on solutions to thin out the squad and offload players no longer deemed a part of their plans.

As Calciomercato.com reports, CEO Giorgio Furlani is with the team in the USA but chief scout Geoffrey Moncada and Antonio D’Ottavio are in Italy still working intensely to complete various outgoing operations.

The first will be Matteo Gabbia, who is heading to try a new experience in Spain. During the talks over Samuel Chukwueze the idea of him going to Villarreal emerged, and he will join them on a season-long dry loan.

A new attempt by Besiktas to sign Ante Rebic has been made as well, but both Milan and the player are not convinced by the loan bid as they would prefer a permanent transfer. Talks will continue.

Fulham have put forward €4m for Fode Ballo-Tourè, which is the amount wanted by the management. Now the final decision belongs to the Senegalese full-back who has taken a couple of days because he is also tempted by the possibility of going to Bologna.

    1. its calciomercato report so dont worry about it.
They will sell what they can, but one cant be suprised if there is not a lot of offers for deadwood players 😀

  1. I wonder what was going through the head of Maldini when he gave Origi 4 years contract, gave salad maker 5 years contract…Hmmmmn! No one wants these players…see the difference between his transfers and this current management…if he were to be in charge, he will be busy looking for average defenders and goalkeepers forgetting that the best way to defend is to attack and in the end he will end up with a useless signing

    1. Dame!!! This your comment harsh die…lol; you just said some settlement that aren’t exactly or should I say not fairly correct…Maldini bought Leao, Giroud n brought in Diaz on loan atlest those where good attacking players….I’m not also in denial that he also make wrong decisions like the Origi 4 years contract for an injury prone player was a wrong move
