CM: Three Serie A clubs ask for teenage Milan winger – the player’s preference

By Oliver Fisher -

Of the players that AC Milan consider available to leave this summer it is Luka Romero who seems to be gathering the most interest, according to a report.

According to Calciomercato.com, Romero is working hard in the first days of the preseason training campaign under the orders of Paulo Fonseca with the awareness that he is not part of the Milan project, at least for the immediate future.

The Argentine talent – who arrived at the Rossoneri on a free transfer only 12 months ago – will leave again on loan to try to find that essential playing time to continue his development, something he wouldn’t get with Milan.

In the last few hours, three loan requests for Romero have arrived in Milan’s inbox, more specifically from Venezia, Verona and Empoli. The Rossoneri have had several meetings with the player to discuss these proposals.

However, at the moment the teenager is taking time to think things through because his preference would be a return to LaLiga. He spent the second half of last season with Almeria and scored three goals in total as they suffered relegation to the second division.

Two of them came via a memorable brace against Atletico Madrid, and it seems his performances have attracted some interest with a recent report claiming three LaLiga clubs are keen.

  1. If he wants a long term future with Milan then he should choose one of these Serie A clubs for a loam. To prove himself in this league. If he wants to go back to Spain we should just cash in on him.

    1. Just cash in. We have too many players already so we need to get the squad down to a manageable size so that the ones we keep have the best chance of developing.

    1. They signed an 18 year old talent for free on a super low salary, and whoever signed him should be fired? Why?
Even if he doesn’t play another second for Milan and he is sent on loan, in a year or 2 he’d still be sold for money, that then will be reinvented back in the squad.
Look at Juventus and Soule. They actually paid money to sign him, he was playing in their u23 team and Primavera. After 1 good loan in a low level serie A team, they value him at 30-40 mil. No one knew who he was up until this past season. And he is 2 years older than Luca Romero who is 19.
BTW, Luca Romero in few months on loan in Spain has scored more goals than Origi in 2 years since he was signed by Milan and was the highest paid player on the team. Now whoever signed him should be fired.

      1. Yea lets fire Cardinale and go back to Li’s regime and back being the debt ridden sukky asse club we’ve been.
It’s amazing there’s Merdaristi using OUR Baressi name in this site 😂😂😂

  2. Hes left footed midfielder. Rare typical for modern football these day. He had good loan spell last season. Should have a chance form milan this season.
