CM: Tomori rejected PSG approach and now he shines for Milan – the background

By Isak Möller -

Fikayo Tomori has certainly bounced back following the reckless red card against Roma, putting in MOTM-worthy performances against Newcastle and Verona. Ahead of the season, the centre-back also rejected PSG.

The Englishman has been an important player ever since he arrived at the club, but he has sometimes lacked the composure needed. The Roma game is a perfect example of that, as he was unnecessarily rash until he got sent off.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Tomori has certainly shown his true colours in the last couple of games, taking control of the situation and leading Milan from the back. And in the summer, he also rejected an approach from PSG.

The defender made it clear from the start that he wanted to redeem himself from the performances in the second half of last season. Therefore, when PSG came knocking between May and June, his entourage didn’t give any opening to the move. Instead, the French side went ahead and signed Lucas Hernandez.

  1. Our best defender, though he should calm the f down with his constant dissatisfied emotions & making these confused looking faces.

The ref gives a whistle, put your head down & run back to your position, for god’s sake!

  2. Our best defender, however he should calm his emotions & stop making these constantly dissatisfied grimaces.

The ref gives a whistle, put your head down & run back to the line, mate.

  3. Definitely the best Milan defender so far since his arrival but still they wouldn’t agree.

He would be more appreciated by Milan fans if he plays for another team and that’s the fact.

  4. Very soon Tomori could be sold. He played 1 excellent season and in others was fine. For good amount of offer from English club there is space to upgrade our squad with that money.

      1. “He is unsellable.”

        Like Tonali? 😀

LOL. NO ONE is “unsellable”. Not in Milan, not anywhere. Everything and everyone has a price. You think Haaland is unsellable? Put 500M€ on the table and watch him switch teams.

        1. Yes, he is unsellable. Yes, you can try to buy an unsellable player.

Just make sure the offer is right. If they splashed 87 million on Maguire, they can easily do 90 for Tomori.

        1. Man, Gabbia sucks donkey balls. Shaky, unconfident, lacks experience. And that is at the age of 23.

There is a good reason his market price is just 5 million. His qualities are limited.

I wish he would move to a team like Torino to finally have a taste of first team football.

Should have sold the deadwood whenever there was a chance. 12 million was the highest ever offer received & they blew it.

That offer was a blessing in disguise for the beady eyes with always scared looking babyface.

            FFS!

            Im the ignorant one.. yup

  5. shines? he makes to many mistakes and for a CB thats a no no. Same with Thiaw but at least he just turn 22. Tomori must step up or Milan needs a strong leader CB.
We cant win with just ok defenders who have to many bad games atm (all CB atm)
