CM: Torino could snub ex-Milan man Biglia as they turn to Arsenal midfielder

As his contract expired this month, Lucas Biglia said goodbye to Milan after three years at the club. It hasn’t been the best years of his career, with several injuries and constant criticism from the Rossoneri fans.

Despite this, it seemed like he would get a new chance in Serie A with another team, namely Torino. The latter are looking for a midfielder and reached out to the Argentine quite early, keen on securing his services for next season.

However, as reported by Calciomercato.com, an announcement is yet to be made even though Biglia has reached an agreement with Torino on the personal terms. The reason? Il Toro want to see if there is any margin to sign Lucas Torreira.

The Uruguayan midfielder has been linked with several Serie A teams this summer, keen on returning to the league after two years at Arsenal. In other words, Torino could decide to snub Biglia in favour of Torreira, should negotiations proceed.
