Antonio Conte is apparently tempted by the idea of continuing his managerial career at AC Milan, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic one of his big endorsers.

If this is true then Cardinale is ballsy pulling the trigger on Conte. But Conte surely understands the state of the league and that Milan can’t spend like the English clubs.
So Conte 1. Is willing to accept a reasonable salary and 2. is ok with the players we have and won’t be asking for expensive reinforcements.
