CM: Winger still feels ‘important’ at Milan but €8-10m offer would be enough

By Isak Möller -

Milan won’t just make reinforcements to the squad this summer, as they will also look to offload a few outcasts. Samu Castillejo is one of the players that could leave, failing to leave a big mark at the club thus far.

The Spaniard joined from Villarreal back in 2018 and has scored ten goals for the Rossoneri in 105 appearances. He also has 12 assists, but it’s clear that the numbers aren’t enough for him to be the first-choice right-winger.

As reported by Daniele Longo in his latest video for Calciomercato.com, Castillejo could indeed leave the club this summer. Should an offer of €8-10m arrive, then Milan are likely to sell him, with the likes of Espanyol, Villarreal and Sevilla interested.

The player himself still feels that he holds an important role within the Rossoneri squad but hasn’t shut the door to a departure either. By the looks of it, a departure is the most likely outcome for him.
