CM: Wolfsburg frontrunners as Milan prepare to sell winger – the price tag

By Isak Möller -

Ante Rebic played from start in AC Milan’s 0-0 draw against Empoli yesterday and he failed to impress yet again. The Rossoneri are thus expected to part ways with the winger in the summer.

This season, the Croatian has made 26 appearances but he has only scored three goals (two assists). He scored a brace on the opening day but since then he has struggled a lot, also missing seven games due to injuries.

According to Calciomercato.com, Rebic simply hasn’t done enough to convince Milan and there was a meeting between the parties already in January. The plan, therefore, is to part ways in the summer and Wolfsburg are the frontrunners to sign him.

Milan will ask for €15m from any club interested and seeing as the winger is under contract until 2025, they would save €7m net in wages by selling him. After four years at the club, Rebic’s time is coming to an end.

    1. Definetly should have. This summer is clean house. Origi is a top candidat to fly out at a bargain, since they got him for free. Can’t wait to see their back.
