Como 0-4 AC Milan Women: Piemonte stars for rampant Rossonere as play-offs beckon

AC Milan Women comfortably beat Como this afternoon to end February in the best possible way, racking up a third win in a row.

The Rossonere dominated from start to finish at the Stadio Ferruccio in Seregno as they scored twice in each half, running out 4-0 winners in the end with Piemonte scoring a brace, extending her scoring streak to four games in the process.

An own-goal also helped Milan to a 2-0 half-time lead and Valery Vigilucci’ was the other scored, while Oona Sevenius made her debut late on in what was a solid and effective performance all around.

Greta Adani also made her 50th appearance for Milan in all competitions and marked it with a very positive display in the middle of the park – coming close twice – while Christy Grimshaw also made it 5o appearances in the Italian top flight.

The Rossonere have moved above Fiorentina to finish the regular season with 34 points and go into the Poule Scudetto (Scudetto play-offs), which will kick off on the weekend of 18-19 March. Next is the Coppa Italia semi-final first leg against Roma on Sunday 5 March.
