In the summer, Christian Comotto was part of the team chosen by Massimiliano Allegri for pre-season and the youngster left the coach impressed. Since then, he has continued to grow.
During pre-season, Comotto was one of the youngsters selected for the pre-season tour. It is nothing new and there have been several stars found from pre-season. Last season, it was Mattia Liberali and Lorenzo Torriani.
So, it was hoped that Comotto could follow in their footsteps and impress on international soil. He certainly did, too. In fact, Allegri was left incredibly impressed with him and there were immediately questions about his future.
Despite suggestions of the first team, he was sent on loan to Spezia to continue his development and he has done just that.
Comotto’s future in Serie A
Now, just a few months away from the summer mercato, his future is being discussed again. However, there may be little to discuss.
As Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) writes, the youngster is almost guaranteed to be playing Serie A football next season but the question is where. He will be assessed in the summer again and Allegri will make the decision whether to include him in the senior team as a seventh midfielder or another loan.
Either way, it is telling that the 17-year-old is already being considered a Serie A player. His future looks bright, indeed.

Yeah it’s Milan, they have to loan their youngster years , while giving playing time to fodders whose costed 20-40 millions instead of hand it to their youth academy product.
If Yamal and Musiala there, they will be send to Serie B to gain experience.
Are you claiming this opinion as your own? 😂
The management only sees him as capital gain though.
