Tuttosport: The conditions that would see Milan go for Bremer and how Pobega could be involved

AC Milan remain in the running to sign Torino centre-back Gleison Bremer but two things must happen before they make a concrete move, a report claims.

According to Tuttosport (via PianetaMilan), Torino have set an asking price of €25m to sell the Brazilian this summer and Milan are among the teams keen, but they are joined by Juventus, Inter, Napoli, Liverpool, Tottenham, Manchester City and Bayern Munich.

At the moment, Bremer only represents an alternative to Sven Botman as the Dutch centre-back from Lille is the priority of the 2022 summer transfer market, seen as the ideal replacement for captain Alessio Romagnoli.

However, there is no agreement in place with Lille for Botman, and if they failed to find one then at that point Milan would return to try for Bremer. They could then offer cash plus Tommaso Pobega to seal the deal, or offer Pobega on loan with the option to buy for €18-20m in order to facilitate the deal.
