Conflicting reports emerge regarding future of €60m Real Madrid flop amid Milan links

By Oliver Fisher -

There are conflicting reports emerging regarding the future of Luka Jovic amid links with a move to AC Milan.

Jovic arrived from Eintracht Frankfurt last summer but has far from impressed scoring just twice, leading to suggestions he could be cut adrift after just one season.

The Rossoneri continue to be the club strongest linked as they look to gift Ralf Rangnick with a new centre-forward, but AS journalist Sergio Gomez claimed on Friday that it will be ‘very difficult’ to get a deal done.

According to Marca (via Calciomercato.com), Zinedine Zidane no longer wants Gareth Bale or Luka Jovic, with Milan’s ears having been pricked up by the report surrounding the latter, who cost Los Blancos €60m.

However, MilanNews journalist Nicholas Reitano has claimed on Twitter that Jovic wants to stay at Real Madrid into next season and as a result he will not leave the club in the summer window.
