AC Milan have been tipped to be part of the Scudetto fight by Antonio Conte this afternoon, and many would disagree.
This summer, Milan have placed a focus on a return to the Champions League. Of course, there is the greater wish to play for titles. However, most have stuck to a feasible goal, that of a top four place with a European ticket.

For now, it would be strange to demand more. After an eighth-placed finish which sparked a reset, change will not happen in one summer. Though, the wish, of course, will be that it has and that a 20th Scudetti could arrive at San Siro this season.
Conte’s Scudetto view
This afternoon, Conte spoke to Sky, via MilanNews, about the title and the perceived battle between him and Massimiliano Allegri.
“This will be a very balanced championship. I see the return of the big three. For Inter, it’s not a return; they did very well last year and have been there for years, consistently having strong seasons,

“The other two big teams [Milan and Juventus] will certainly return, with strong squads equipped to perform well. We’ll have to try to do our best, and in the end, we’ll draw the conclusions. Allegri’s return doesn’t present a challenge between me and him; there are twenty teams and we’re all competing, it’s everyone against everyone.
“I think it will be a very exciting and balanced championship; everyone will have to do their part.”
After the first game, you would probably disagree with Conte. However, there is a long time left to go, and the final few days of the mercato could have a big impact. It remains to be seen, anything can happen.

I would have just laughed it off if I was Conte… our 1st game was an embarrassment…
back 3 way too fragile…
Estupinan was doing what again? only thing he did was that assist, but that left flank was entirely open… after the 1st goal he then barely went up…
Gimenez has 0 spacial awareness… if he is marked he is useless, off the ball he is off-side…
Fofana and RLC were definition of headless chickens… since when has Fofana become a box-to-box; his quality was always being deep… that’s why I think that with this squad it makes way more sense to go with 3-4-1-2 with Pulisic being the fantasista – backed by RLC, when we need just brute force, I guess…
Fofana, Ricci, Jashari, Modric and hopefully Rabiot should stay deeper and control the center…
hence why we need Rabiot, Kiwior, and Vlahovic!
only Alexis, Pulisic and Modric looked like actual players. also, can’t blame Mike for the game!
And here we go😂 setting the stones up for him to be able to request more new signings. Never change tony
I can’t believe we lost to Cremonese. Forget the Scudetto—we need to lock in that fourth spot without a plan B in mind.
need and striker badly
do we need Ritiro already?
Pafos scored a freaking crazy goal against Red Star Belgrade
Dang, both a Cypriotic and Kasachstani team in cl this year.
And Hauge with Bodo Glimt. I was watching the Pafos game in Serbia and I’ve never seen a pub empty that fast ever.
😀 I thought Zvena Zvezda would win and it would go to extra time so switched to that match after I had watched the Celtic match so when the Cypriots scored whom I thought was actually greeks, quite frankly I had expected a huge brawl, there was small signs of it initially but nothing really happened 😀 but yeah I can imagine the Serbs was livid in Serbia.
two former Milan players also played tonight in the Wolves vs West Ham match where Jørgen Strand scored two and Paqueta one and Paqueta also got unlucky not scoring on a bycycle kick, Wolves won though.
It wasn’t the goal. Some mo*on security guys beat up 2 young Zvezda players, who were in the stands. Arnautovic was looking for them after the game. To have a polite conversation, of course. 😆
Oh didn’t realize that as I watched the match a bit with one eye and was reading some stuff on the pc at the same time but did notice something about an Austrian and thought it might be Arnautovic even though i didn’t know he had joined Red Star Belgrade but that was pre that situation as I just suddenly saw a lot of people storming down to the entrance after the equalizer so I assumed the debacle was about them scoring. Yeah I’m sure he is good to have on your side if you want to have a polite conversation with the local security 😀
The same type of personality like Ibrahimovic. We have a lot of those here 🤣
Like Ibra ? So big blowhards 😀 Just kidding, well I get you as we ain’t really pushovers around here in Denmark either but the Balkans do have some rather big and burly sized fellas around.
It is the mentality. Don’t know if you remember but Ibrahimovic regularly picked a fight (argument) with anyone that came across. He was relentless with reporters while playing. Even a few real fights with teammates. Boiling blood, that is how we describe it.
Fair enough I was also just kidding a bit but yeah you can argue that people from the Balkans are temperamental/emotional and for that matter so is a lot of Southern European people. Still love the Cassano interview where Ibra walks up and karate kicks him in the head even if softly.
Ibra was raised in Sweden, didn’t help. 🤣🤣🤣
😀
Anything less than 3pts from the Lecce game will mean, interesting times at Milan.
Who is Conte…? Short clown🤭🤣
Love this sort of banter. Triple A prime mind Games this is 😅
