CorBergamo: Milan’s pursuit of Atalanta forward on stand-by due to asking price set

By Oliver Fisher -

Atalanta forward Josip Ilicic remains a target for AC Milan but they are reflecting after learning his price tag, according to a report.

Ilicic continues to be linked as a potential transfer target for the Rossoneri as they look to add some fresh blood to their attacking department amid doubts over the future of winger Samu Castillejo, and everything seems to suggest the Slovenia international will be allowed to leave given that his relationship with head coach Gian Piero Gasperini has soured.

This is because the Rossoneri are taking time to try and reduce the €8m that is currently being requested by the Bergamo club in order for the 33-year-old to leave in the current summer window.
