A transfer saga continues to swirl around André, and now the Corinthians starlet has spoken out for the first time about the AC Milan links.
As a reminder, it was last week that the news emerged from nowhere that Milan had agreed a deal worth €17m including bonuses for André, and it looked to be heading quickly for conclusion. However, the president of Corinthians got involved and things have descended into a farce since.
With the demand being issued to raise the bid, Corriere dello Sport reported earlier in the week that the Rossoneri might end up walking away from the negotiations. There has also been talk of legal action through FIFA, while Fabrizio Romano spoke of an ultimatum set for the next few days.
Now, to add some further fuel to the fire, André himself has spoken for the first time about his possible move to Milan. He commented on the rumours to Globoesporte (via MilanNews), admitting it would be a dream.
“I’m very calm. My concentration is 100% here at Corinthians. If I went to Milan I would be living a dream, but I’m living a dream here too. Playing for Corinthians is a dream I’ve always had since I was a child, even more so as a professional,” he said.
